Ann Langston
Ann is an early years specialist, conference speaker and trainer who has written widely on effective practice in the early years.
Ann has contributed significantly to both of the nationally devised frameworks for under-fives in England since 2002: the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Birth to Three Matters framework.
Ann has extensive skills in the development of training materials, especially multi-media materials and led on the development of the EYFS CD-Rom and the national Birth to Three Matters workforce training materials.
Ann’s publications include: Facilitating Children’s Learning in the EYFS (2014), The Revised EYFS in Practice: Thinking, Seeing and Doing (2012), Playing to Learn, Parents Matter (2006), Birth to Three Matters (2005) and Managing Staff in Early Years Settings (1999). Ann has also written for early years publications such as Nursery World, Early Years Educator and has contributed to journals and chapters in a number of early years books.
